 NWTF Goals and Objectives Minimize
The National Wild Turkey Federation is dedicated to the conservation of American wild turkeys and the preservation of the hunting tradition.  The NWTF has established extensive conservation programs to improve and protect wild turkey habitat, to increase the number and distribution of wild turkeys, and to assist corporate and individual land managers.  The NWTF also offers its members a variety of education materials and programs.  Hunter safety materials are available to all members, and the JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics, and Sportsmanship) program for NWTF members 17 and under, and Women in the Outdoors program are designed to increase public awareness of wild turkey conservation and to increase and ensure participation in the wild turkey hunting tradition.
